*NOTE – So the lovely people in the media department at the V&A have asked me to blog for them. This is a great opportunity for my work to reach a much larger audience! So I will be posting to the V&A blog 1st and then a little later I will post here. If you wish to keep up to date then check out my newest post over on the V&A Blog 🙂
As part of my internship I have been repeating and expanding on some of the experiments into cleaning that they did during the POPART project. One part has been repeating experiments on real-world objects that have a surface texture – more on that in a later post though!
The unusual object I’ve been using to carry out this experiment is one of the very 1st laptops brought into the museum. A beast of a machine weighing in at just under 12Lbs (5kg) with 20mb of storage space 1mb of RAM… and it as a great glimpse into the museums past – a very nice, minimal V&A logo!
